More about Parul
Parul was in her early 30s, raising two young children, recovering from cancer, and quarterbacking her parents’ medical care, when she got laid off from her dream job. She felt knocked down, lost, and burnt out. After months of introspection, however, she had an “aha” moment. She realized the power of her story didn’t lie in the dark clouds, but in the silver linings she created from them. Choosing action over hope had helped her thrive from a variety of life’s curveballs. She felt like she had stumbled upon life’s secret - that we shouldn’t be looking for silver linings, but we should be creating them. Recognizing the beneficial powers of leadership, resilience, and intention in her life, it became her mission to spread the word. Channeling the insights she developed over ~20 years across MIT and Harvard Business School, and in leadership roles in management consulting and Silicon Valley, she dedicated herself to wellbeing and leadership development, empowering people to create their own fulfilling life.
